Do you want to take part in developing the overall strategy across the indoor build, plumbing, paint, tools & hardware categories? Are you able to use your skills and experience to contribute to the success of the Category Management Team? Then this is your opportunity to join us!
In collaboration with the C-level and the Procurement Team, you will be the driving force in the overall development of your categories. Together with your Category Managers, you will be responsible for the performance and strategic development of the categories and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in collaboration with external and internal stakeholders. You will lead and manage your own projects and support the Category Managers in their projects.

With your analytical and fact-based approach to category management, it is your responsibility to optimize and maintain our supplier portfolio as well as develop and maintain purchasing and pricing policies. You are disciplined, have a good overview and are able to navigate both at a strategic and operational level. You are able to collaborate with and create relationships across the organisation, and you're able to train your people to perform at their best - every day.

Main responsibilities
- Ongoing review and development of the approach to procurement and category management.
- Improving and implementing strategic and operational processes within the department.
- Leading supplier negotiations.
- Developing and executing the procurement strategy.
- Working closely with the Marketing team to structure and maintain the product content on Silvan.dk.
- Supporting, coaching, and developing the Category Management Team.
- Your categories will include:
- Tools & Hardware
- Plumbing & Heating
- Paint
- Storage, Auto- & Bicycle accessories
- Indoor Build
Preferred qualifications
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- At least 2 years of management experience in sales, procurement, category management.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Experienced user of PowerPoint and Excel.
- English written and verbal at business level.
