Although you report directly to our head of DSV Solutions IT, your position will be anything but that of a personal assistant. Joining us, you can help ensure order during exciting times for a whole team of colleagues that drive complex global IT-projects.

We are working across multiple time zones and at an amazing pace, which will give your role many exciting, complex twists and enable you to sharpen your skills even further.

We cover 4 vital delivery areas, including warehouse management systems, automations solutions and a host of connected and core applications that enable freight invoicing and settlement, customs and duty management, package, and label scanning and much, much more.

The DSV Solutions IT main office consists of directors for various IT areas, portfolio managers, our head of IT and many more who collaborate with colleagues, customers, and partners around the world. As such, we engage in meetings, travels and many various projects and need a firm, coordinating hand to keep everything running smoothly. This is where you enter the picture.

Take on a key supporting role
You will support colleagues across the office in their projects and processes. More concretely, you will:

  • Follow up on key reports with relevant colleagues and ensure timely responses on these
  • Coordinate and structure critical meetings, town halls and larger events for colleagues across offices and time zones
  • Take part in practical tasks related to recruitment processes and other areas
  • Maintain and update documents and file structures
  • Facilitate cross-department communications, like making presentations etc.


Go beyond supportive tasks
Your tasks will mainly be administrative and coordinating during peak workload-heavy periods. However, you will also enjoy periods with room to delve more into process development. This includes creating yearly wheels, frameworks and best practices for key processes such as recruitment, IT projects and more.

Can you create structure in complexity?
"Business as usual” isn’t really your thing. You thrive with new challenges and know how to get things structured and executed during times of change. You also have a great “can-do” attitude and excellent communication skills that enable you to diplomatically keep everyone else within their deadlines.

Apart from that, we are very open in terms of what your background may be – no specific titles or degrees are necessary, as long as you have:

  • Experience with a similar type of role that demands great administrative and coordination skills – we imagine it could be as an office assistant, administrative assistant, managerial assistant or similar
  • Excellent communication skills in English, as you will often collaborate with colleagues from different countries
