Do you want to deliver professional product management? Can you identify potential new product opportunities in close cooperation with especially sales, marketing and R&D, (and the rest of the organization)? And will you be able to ensure that Kongskilde Industries’ product portfolio continues to be market leading and is developed to meet technical standards, customer demands and market needs? Then you could be the Global Product Manager, we are looking for on behalf of Kongskilde Industries, which is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pneumatic solutions for the paper, packaging, and plastic industry.
Strategic key position focused on scalable growth through innovation and improvement of status quo
The Global Product Manager reports directly to the CCO of the Industry division based at the company’s HQ in Sorø in Denmark. Approximately 1 hour by car from Copenhagen with the possibility of home office. As a Global Product Manager, it will be your overall mission to manage and improve the product offerings and to drive the sales effectiveness so that it meets the demands from the market segments. Other key responsibilities in the position will be to:

You have a relevant business background or education (Engineering, Science, Business, or related field) and experience with product management processes, as well as solid business experience. It is not essential to have industry experience, but it will be an advantage to come from an industrial manufacturing company or from the customer side (plastic, paper, packaging). Your colleagues characterise you as a natural implementer with the confidence that makes people want to follow your ideas, and you are a role model with a proactive and hands-on approach. You like to challenge status quo, and you can inspire your stakeholders in a change process. Furthermore, you are proactive and collaborative, and you understand the importance of strong and trusting cooperation across the organization and across cultures. Your solid understanding of processes and your systematic approach enable you to create results based on independent execution and data. With your persistence, drive and focus on targets and results, it comes natural to you to take the lead and chart the course. Finally, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and it is not a requirement to speak Danish.

- Take part in initiating, writing and supporting business cases for new product developments, as well as testing of new products
- Lead the development of marketing and commercialization plans for new products and existing product enhancements
- Successfully drive launch of new products together with marketing and R&D
- Provide overall product roadmap priorities, implementation plan, and costs
- Gather voice-of-customer and market intelligence globally
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies together with sales and marketing
- Develop, implement, and monitor distribution and pricing strategies
- Take a leading role in developing tools to improve quoting and presentation of solutions (configure-price-quote) and improving sales / engineering tools
- Support global marketing planning activities, including tradeshows, ads, and online activity selections with the Regional Sales & Marketing teams
