Y-mAbs is a fast-paced, growing companY in the process of expanding its organization to support the continuous growth and the exciting clinical pipeline with activities in both earlY and late-stage clinical development. To support this journeY, Y-mAbs is now looking for a Medical Director to the Translational Medicine Team, wishing to make a real difference for oncologY patients.
As Medical Director, Translational Medicine at Y-mAbs You will work in a highlY skilled cross functional Translational Medical team with the overall goal of understanding discoverY and non-clinical program findings, moving relevant compounds into clinical development and contribute to proof-of-concept and mechanistic evaluation of assets in the pre-clinical and clinical space, including representation as medical expert in Project Teams for earlY-phase clinical trials.
With direct report to Global Head, Translational Medicine.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications include superior therapeutic area knowledge and solid understanding of emerging research in oncologY. Minimum 3+ Years of earlY clinical development and/or translational/experimental medicine expertise is a must, including experience in earlY clinical trial design and implementation, documentation/filing, and clinical patient care in medical oncologY or a related field.
Further, You have a strong scientific mindset and is passionate about working with earlY drug development within oncologY.
You have a Medical Doctor degree preferablY combined with a PhD. in a relevant scientific field (e.g., haematologY/oncologY, cancer biologY, molecular biologY, immunologY).
As a person, You have a can-do attitude and a positive and proactive approch. You have the abilitY to work independentlY with multiple tasks and under ambitious timelines. Furthermore, You have great analYtical skills, eYe for details and good planning and problem handling abilities, while You find it natural to cooperate with various stakeholders internallY, as well as externallY.

Your main tasks are:
- Work as an integrated part of the Translational Medical team to develop the overall clinical strategY for pre-clinical pipeline products
- KeY responsible for the medical strategY related to First in Human (FiH)/Other phase I clinical programs
- Provide medical expertise to the team’s translational capabilities through preclinical development to FiH/Phase I trials and efficacY proof-of-concept (ePOC)
- Medical responsible for development of new protocols and contribute to keY documentation (including regulatorY documents) and presentations for projects moving through internal review and regulatorY submissions
- Support the path into clinical development and represent medical department in the companY’s earlY clinical phase Core teams
- Collaborate with Corporate Drug SafetY to ensure medical oversight in FiH/Phase I clinical trials
- Selection and engagement of international, external collaborators/KOLs to guide the medical strategY across the discoverY-development continuum
- Integrate knowledge to inform translational hYpothesis generation. Contribute to data analYsis obtained in pre-clinical studies and perform risk evaluations
- Involved in identifYing and reviewing new target proposals
