The purpose of the role is to develop, roll-out and maintain standard engineering, costing and pricing tools that solution engineers or product managers can use to capture their assumptions and design and model their solutions for customer pursuits.

Global responsibility for Solution Engineering tools:
• Development and maintenance of a set of design, costing and pricing tools to be deployed globally across all Lead Logistics products adapted for the various sales stages
• Ensure alignment with Finance, HR, and Customer Experience regarding solution detail and financial models required for hand-over to implementation
• Working closely with products to provide direct feedback from Solution Engineers community regarding product enhancements or new opportunities
• Develop and conduct training programs for tool suite
Manage Lead Logistics pricing strategy:
• Collate and combine product pricing recommendations into an holistic Lead Logistics pricing strategy, tools and process
Drive Lead Logistics commercial success & facilitate commercialization:
• Personally and actively support strategic pursuits to maximize win-rate, including attending key client meetings or leading where required
• Ensure commercial contracting risks are mitigated through effective guidelines, negotiation support and appropriate approval processes
Be an active participant within the Global Lead Logistics Community:
• Capture and share knowledge / best practices throughout the organization to support short and long term success
• Speak up and share both supportive and critical views in a way that fosters a dynamic and engaging pursuit of continuous improvement
• Strategic analytical & modelling capability, ability to translate complex requirements into tangible solutions
• Extensive Supply Chain and logistics network knowledge, Digital / IT understanding
• Expertise within key verticals
• Well developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong understanding of commercial solution sales process and consultative sales techniques
