• Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineer
• Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product
• Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolve it before it happens
• Daily management of standups as the Scrum Master for no more than two engineering teams
• Partner with Platform Product Owner to align with objectives, KPI, priorities
• Empowering the delivery team to self-organize
• Be a servant leader with a passion for the team and team members’ success
• Providing technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
• Leading technical excellence via active contribution to architecture discussions and planning
• Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity
• Occasionally contributing to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain an understanding of the deeply technical product as well as to keep your technical acumen sharp
• Work with other Engineering Managers to drive platform and technology strategy to truly enable DevOps and target continuous release
• Working with teams across the organization to deliver outcomes for the business stakeholders to define and evolve products from concept to reality.
• Leading lean thinking across teams focusing on removal of waste in process and handoff points across the lifecycle
• Owner of KPI framework and metrics reporting; reporting on team effectiveness (time to value, release cadence,
• Defining and using metrics to define success and adoptability of features
• Defining and Leading the Discover Phase of a Product, to collect guest feedback on what matters and prioritizing features and epics
• Experience in Technology Transformation, Salesforce Development, Platform Management, Engineering excellence to scale
• 10+ years’ experience leading Software Development projects with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be nimble, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications
• Experience with short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience working on a product that’s been released for public consumption
• Experience in building solutions in an Agile/DevOps environment as well as managing teams in building salesforce lead solutions.
• Should have exposure to building salesforce solutions around sales and marketing processes, data led product development and roadmaps
• Experience in hiring talented engineers
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with Agile development methodologies. Scrum Master experience required
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and project management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
• Skilled stakeholder- and people manager with the ability to communicate complex messages, constructively challenge Product Owners and related stakeholders
• Ability to guide engineers through successful agile development projects in a DevOps setting, including testing and deployment
• Bring vision to life and translating strategies into execution.
• Leading by example and working with a large workforce working across geographies.
