As Team leader in Fleet Technology Machinery, you take ownership of the team delivering projects and tasks assigned from scope development through start up and execution.
Reporting to the Head of Machinery, you will lead a team of 8 technical specialists.
Your key responsibilities will be to support and develop the team – and be able to be an important sparring partner on the technical side. You will be involved in attracting, developing and retaining high talent.
The team you are leading are specialists within the area of vessel newbuildings and retrofits including maker selection, preparing and reviewing specifications, drawing approvals and follow construction and execution in shipyards around the world to apply company and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical/Marine Engineering background combined with solid managerial experience in a technical organisation in the maritime/ oil and gas industry.
You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and you are able to interact with people at all levels across the organization.
You are an ambitious, goal-oriented problem solver. You take ownership of your assignments and independently achieve results. You put theory into practice and possess strong analytical skills that enable you to make sound and reliable assessments in accounting matters.
Furthermore, you thrive with a leadership role in a demanding environment, where high quality as well as the ability to meet deadlines are in focus.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is a prerequisite as well as good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Danish is not a requirement.
