This role will evaluate overall IT Operational risk across Technology, maintain an active view, and report on the actual, mitigated and residual risk in IT. All technology operational audit closure activities are coordinated through this role, including the control and actual submissions for closure.
Activities will likely include:
• Own and drive the IT Operational Risk Management framework across the Technology organisation.
• Drive risk accountability across Technology, partnering with SOE, Platforms, Cyber, ensuring acceptance of risk remediation.
• Provide risk visibility to various leadership teams across IT so they understand the most significant risks to the business and their accountability for individual risks.
• Monitor and communicate key risk indicators (KRIs) and management activities to assist relevant stakeholders in their decision-making process.
• Support day to day risk management activities, including capturing, assessing and assisting in the development of risk response action plans for key technology risks.
• Prepare, document and provide thought leadership of IT operational risk positioning to ERM as part of the quarterly submission process.
• Lead and provide continuous improvement and best practice to Operational Risk processes.
• Provide support, education and training to Technology staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.
• Lead a team of offshore and onshore reports, continuously coaching and developing members of the team.
• Valued partner with GIA, Maersk’s External Audit providers and compliance/legal functions.
• Service Owner for GRC ServiceNow.

• Ideally 5+ years management experience in Risk management/Audit/Compliance or related fields, preferably within Technology
• Recognised certifications, such as CISA/CRISC/CISM/CISSP/ISO27001
• Strong analytical skills and quantitate approach to problem solving
• Strong technical background, with an ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to present clearly and support own views and judgements to influence business decisions
• Willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory development and learn new concepts and methods.
