Business Resilience for us is integrating Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management into an effective response platform, with close alignment to Disaster Recovery and Supply Chain Security.
We Offer
Reporting to the Business Resilience (BR) function in the center, this role will be based in a regional hub (Copenhagen, Singapore, Cape Town or Dubai) and be part of the Business Resilience Implementation team in close cooperation with the Center of Excellence (COE) Business Resilience functions. You will be expected to work closely with the Regional Customer Experience (CX) & Outcomes Manager, other Regional Product leads and the wider Safety & Resilience (S&R) COE teams at HQ and of course participate in knowledge sharing between your peers in the similar roles.

Key Responsibilities
Within the region of your assignment, you will have three primary focus areas
1) Customers; making BR solutions with our customers in mind, support on customer inquiries related to resilience and audits of same while always working to strengthen the value proposition towards our customers by continuously developing and expanding our supply chain resilience framework.
2) Leadership: You will engage with local leadership, products and CX ensuring a good cooperation and link between Business Resilience and business objectives thereby having an effective level of preparedness and you will be the natural sparring partner when the region is faced with business disruption or crisis situations.
3) Business/Frontline Your role is to drive the coordination and implementation of Business Resilience activities across the region and set the standard for Business Resilience through the BR framework, tools, templates and Commit Rule.
You will be bridging customer, supply chain and logistics with the traits of Business Resilience thereby ensuring a true inherent resilient global operation to the benefit for the customer, company, and shareholder.
We’re looking for
You will be responsible for driving the business continuity management and crisis management for your region working in close collaboration with the regional CX manager. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have strong stakeholder management experience with a customer centric outlook and ability to articulate the value of Business Resilience towards the customers, business and regional leadership.
Supply chain and logistics industry experience would be a plus but It’s much more important that you have a drive for coordination, for engaging leaders and subject matter experts and that you are good at keeping calm in complex situations. Furthermore, it is a big advantage if you are good at establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships across functions and management levels.
This ability is more important to us as we believe that almost anything else can be taught if you have the willingness to do so. We therefore expect from you that you are willing to learn and listen.
You are more than comfortable presenting and pitching towards senior management and have in-depth knowledge of the business to know when to give relevant input. All of this in English, which is our business language at Maersk.
You have experience and enjoy working with business continuity, crisis management, and/or disaster recovery programs, methodologies, and applicable principles as well as their methods of implementation and maintenance. Most importantly, you thrive in this uncertain environment and can keep calm and collected during sometimes stressful times.
