This is a unique opportunity for you to influence the future Technology platform and products of Nordea Life and Pension Denmark. The role will report to the Chief Information Officer.

About this opportunity

We seek a Head of Development Platforms for Nordea Life & Pensions (“NLP”) in Denmark. As Head of Development Platforms, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of highly skilled developers that focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining a various number of integrations and own-developed solutions, including web platforms, mobile bank functionally & integration, customer and internal portals and archiving solutions.
You will be the daily responsible person defining and delivering roadmaps in tight collaboration with business development and other business areas. You will be accountable and responsible for budgets, vendors, SLA & KPI follow-up, reporting, ensuring compliance, and audit within own domain.
You will be part of the “Technology” department, in which we aim at building a best-in-class technology platform providing state-of-art solutions tailored to achieve our ambitious objectives. We embrace cloud and are properly the financial institution in Danmark furthest with implement a full cloud platform using Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake etc. “Technology” embodies a dynamic mix, combining a start-up mentality with well-established processes. We actively challenge the status quo, consistently questioning our approach while acknowledging that we don't need to address every aspect simultaneously. The environment at "Technology" reflects a balance, allowing us to navigate the complexities of our mission with agility and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include, while not be limited to:

The role is based in Copenhagen, Nordea Metro office as our future workplace (from May 2024). We are located next to the DR Byens metro station, which ensures good transportation options, as well as a possibility for public parking spaces in the area.
Until then, we still reside at Borupvang 4, 2750 Ballerup, where we look forward to welcoming you as soon as possible.

As this is a senior position with high level of complexity, we expect you to have years of experience from similar positions, not necessary from Pension but financial or other regulated industries would be a plus as managing and championing regulatory compliance will be an integrated part of your success.
