Your future position lies within the Partnership and Compliance Unit in the International Department. The part of the unit working on P-MEAL (Planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning) consists of 3 team members in HQ and work to develop and/or improve system, processes and practices that ensure adherence to project and sector standards and donor requirements.

We are in the midst of finalizing the new International Strategy 2022-2025, which means that you will be joining our team at an exciting time, where visions outlined in the strategy will be translated into concrete action.


Your future position


As a senior P-MEAL advisor your main purpose will be to provide technical support to selected projects, provide general advice on P-MEAL issues and lead and support the development of processes, tools and guidance for project cycle management.

Your tasks will include:

  • Providing technical support and input into strategic monitoring and reporting
  • Leading on the internal reporting process
  • Leading on the establishment and management of a database for reviews and evaluations
  • Leading and supporting the ongoing development and refinement of project management tools and standards
  • Facilitating continuous learnings on systems and processes to possible improvements for following years
  • Supporting ad hoc strategic and organisational processes or projects
  • Supporting and providing input into donor applications

Are you the ideal candidate for our team?

  • A master’s degree in social science, international development or similar
  • A minimum 7 years of experience in the humanitarian or development sector
  • A strong experience within project management including experience from the field
  • Documented experience in working with and facilitating project cycle management processes including project design, review, and evaluation
  • Strong analytical and strategic development skills
  • Applied experience in LFA approach, Theories of Change and developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks at various levels
  • Excellent English language skills. French language skills are a plus.

We work specifically on building preparedness and response capacity. DRC works both with long term activities and short-term response particularly within health, disaster preparedness and response.

The position is a full-time position - 37 working hours per week. It is a one year position from November 2021 to November 2022. You will refer to the Head of partnership & Compliance in Copenhagen.

Salary and employment conditions will comply with Danish Red Cross’s collective bargain agreement with HK and AC and will be between DKK 45.200 – 46.200 including allowances and pension depending on experience and qualifications.
