Your mission…

The L’Oréal Active Cosmetics is growing in the Nordics and our commitment to the medical community is a strong pillar in this journey. As the Nordic Head of Medical Communications, you are the driving force behind our on- and offline communication towards health care professionals across different specialties in the Nordic countries. Internally, you are the change-agent to drive the transformation within medical communication to become truly multi-channel. You engage stakeholders across the team, the Active Cosmetics Division Leadership Team, and external partners to drive the division forward in realizing the brands’ ambitions. The role reports to the Nordic Medical Director.

You will…

  • Lead and define the overall direction of the medical communication strategy in line with brand priorities to encourage prescriptions and develop the reputation of our brands and the Division
  • Define and execute clear, sharp messaging adapted to different healthcare professionals’ (HCP) needs in line with our Doctor Centric Approach
  • Follow up and evaluation of the medical communication strategy to ensure ROI and corrective measures
  • Drive research to develop market and HCP insights and ensure these are implemented in the Nordic medical communication strategy as well as shared with stakeholders in the division
  • Be a change-agent to drive a multi-channel (both on- and off-line) mindset in the team to support the medical brand strategies in line with the overall brand strategy (product plan, services, medical territories etc.) to empower the medical field team with our CRM system (Veeva)
  • Develop and drive key medical projects to promote and strengthen brand profiles within the medical communications team, in cooperation with other teams and with external partners
  • Work together and in cooperation with the with marketing, medical detailing, commercial, external communications and digital in the division as well as other divisions in the L’Oréal Group
  • Management and development of medical communications team


Your profile…

  • You have +5 years’ experience in communication or marketing either from pharmaceutical, med-tech or consumer goods industry
  • People management experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptive mindset to balance long term planning with the fast-paced environment, as well as able to assess complex structures and needs across the organization to provide valuable
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Proficient in analyzing performance, developing insights to consistently improve performance, and building strategic frames
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English is a must and proficiency one or more of the Nordic languages is desirable
  • Strong collaboration skills and can interact and spar with stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong IT and digital skills and understanding, be able to quickly understand and utilize new digital platforms and solutions.
