How to contribute

We are searching for a skilled and motivated Team Leader to head our growing IT Operations team, which is a vital part of our IT organization and currently consists of six dedicated and talented professionals. The team is responsible for all IT infrastructure within Terma, both from an operational level – growth of existing infrastructure, to design and development of new infrastructure in coordination with stakeholders.

Some of your primary focus areas will be:

  • As manager of the team, you will be responsible for the direct management of the team, as well as the individual employees, e.g., running annual people processes, etc.
  • Ensuring efficient and smooth resource allocation through maintenance of Roadmap, Load & Capacity plan
  • Define and prioritize team backlog and iterations/Sprints
  • Ensuring relevant and up-to-date people development in close collaboration with your employees and colleagues
  • Hands-on work on technical areas to enable direct oversight, problem-solving leadership, and participation in execution of backlog tasks e.g., infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify potential opportunities for optimization

The ideal candidate has either a technical background with an academic degree in IT, Computer Science, etc. or a background within Project Management or Business Administration with experience in people management.

Beneficial skills and experience to help you succeed and make an impact:

  • Excellent people management skills and drive for leading technology proficient employees within the IT infrastructure area
  • Great experience and knowledge of Project Management
  • Broad knowledge of managing complex IT- and communication systems, services, and infrastructure
  • Competences in standard infrastructure components e.g., AD, VMware, Microsoft, backup, etc.
  • Experience in Information Security and Risk Management
  • Focused on IT- and Cyber security
