About the department
As part of Novo Nordisk’s R&D family, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and analyse all new protein and peptide processes coming out of our research units, ensuring that we bring best-in-class treatments to the market. Our ambition is to develop break-through products based on orally available versions of GLP-1 and other molecules. CMC Oral Protein Formulation (OPF) is an area within CMC, which employs approximately 160 highly skilled people organised in four departments and is based in Måløv. Our focus is to develop and manufacture solid dose forms for pre-clinical and clinical trial phases I and II covering a broad and exciting range of process and analytical technologies for solid dosage forms.
You will join the department - OPF Technical Support – which consists of two teams, contributing with a broad range of skills, such as maintenance, calibration, qualification, IT QMS/training and general support to ensure daily operations. The department has just been established as of 1st of September 2020. You will join a leadership team, where we have a strong focus on developing sustainable solutions in an ever-changing environment. We also share knowledge and support each other through both successes and challenges.
The position
We are looking for an associate manager for our IT & Quality team, consisting of 11 dedicated colleagues, with a broad range of skills, such as an IT partner and system managers, IT SME, QMS and training. As a newly established team, you have a unique opportunity to bring new thoughts to engage with the team and thereby set the direction for IT and quality within our area.
Your team will secure that our area is in compliance, within IT and training, and that we monitor our overall ability to deliver at a high level of quality throughout all aspects of our processes. To succeed in this support function, you will need to build a solid understanding of the deliveries of the other team in the department. You will also have to establish excellent communication with both stakeholders and peers within and outside own business area in order to understand were our effort has most impact and to ensure the right competencies are in place in the team to provide professional support for our colleagues.
Qualifications
You have:
- a Bachelor’s or Master degree within Engineering, pharmacy, science or IT
- experience within a regulated industry, preferably the pharmaceutical industry.
- people management experience, and know how to inspire and energize your surroundings, set clear and ambitious goals and generally lead with empathy
Proficiency in written as well as spoken Danish and English is necessary for the position.
It is not a pre-requisite that you have a background within IT or Quality yourself, however you must have an interest in both. Most importantly, you are keen to create engagement and set a direction for the team.

- are a strong communicator.
- are willing to bring your thoughts out in the open, creating a healthy discussion, and at the same time, setting a direction
- are willing to give and receive feedback.
- put an effort in creating psychological safety for all team members.
