COWIs Business Division for Transportation needs a Head of Section who - like us - puts the colleagues' wellbeing and customer needs at its highest. We are looking for a dedicated leader with a professional focus on managing and developing a section which assists COWIs Infrastructure and Building projects.
JOIN OUR TRANSPORTATION BUSINESS UNIT IN LYNGBY
Our department counts a total of 50 colleagues and is experiencing steadily increasing activities, and there is a prospect for a continued large supply of exciting and challenging projects and growth in the current market both in Denmark and internationally. In our Business Division we have 600 colleagues working on some of the most iconic infrastructure projects in Denmark such as Fremtidens S-tog, the Kattegat crossing and the Fehmarnbelt tunnel.
As Head of Section you will report to the Vice President of the Department and be responsible for leading, managing, and inspiring 7 employees located in Lyngby. The section cooperates with several departments across COWI and we expect that the section will develop both in terms of competences and numbers in the coming years.

You have a relevant educational background as either Cand. Jur. or Cand. merc. Jur. and have several years of experience in Procurement Management or Contract Management.
As Head of Section it will be your responsibility to ensure a continually development of the section, optimal resource utilization and overall well-being in the section.
Your tasks include among other things:
You will be part of the department management team and you will, in cooperation with the other Head of Sections and directors in the department, help set the direction and develop the business in order to achieve our strategic goals.
