Business Execution Partner, Region North West Europe

Are you motivated to be chief of staff to the VP of Clinical Medical and Regulatory (CMR) covering 15 northern and western European countries? About the department

The Clinical, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) team in region North West Europe is a diverse, international, high performing team of colleagues responsible for driving clinical, medical and regulatory excellence across all affiliates in the region and upwards to global and International Operations. In CMR, we link science with business and aim to be a strategic function contributing to the growth ambitions of the region (North West Europe), of International Operations (IO) and Novo Nordisk overall.

The position

You will be a strategic business partner to the VP of CMR in region North West Europe. As a member of CMR management you play a key role in driving the strategic direction and executing key priorities and processes in the area.

In addition, you will manage the regional clinical and medical portfolio of strategic priorities and drive the execution of specific projects and tasks.

You will play a leading role in building a CMR community in Communication to IO’s wide organization on strategic initiatives, performance and to build a unity.

You are overall responsible for CMR budget management, linking resources to strategy and are expected to be a key player in driving the cultural transformation of the team and the affiliates. You will advise senior leadership by presenting multiple sides of complex issues while maintaining objectivity

Qualifications

You hold a MSc in Business, Communication, Medical/Science or a similar field, and you have extensive experience as project and/or team lead. You have a solid understanding of the therapeutic value chain and experience in working in a complex stakeholder environment. You can translate complex business information into simplified and clear messages.

Furthermore, working in a consultative capacity would be beneficial, where you have developed strong strategy development and execution skills and you excel in collaborating with different stakeholders across functions and borders.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have strong emotional intelligence. You can lead strategic projects and ensure holistic solutions to often multifaceted business challenges which require robust problem solving, project management, presentation and change management skills.

It is important that you feel comfortable in handling a variety of assignments in a challenging environment. In addition, you possess strong leadership capabilities and consistently act as a role model of our core values set out in the Novo Nordisk Way.

We see this as an opportunity for an ambitious professional to build skills in key aspects of the pharmaceutical value chain across clinical development, medical and regulatory affairs. Therefore we also welcome applications from candidates who do not yet have medical/experience but have experience in other pharmaceutical functions (e.g. consulting, commercial).
