You are transforming the department and are visible to our customers
As a department manager in Workplace Operations you must be a success in transforming the department into a proactive way of thinking, making us on top of things before the customers are impacted. You shall be visible to our customers and take lead in the daily operations. You have focus on continuous improvement on the daily work and automation. You will be responsible for the delivery of continued stable workplace operations to our customers, and to bring insight and transparency into the deliveries.
Your tasks will among others be:
There will be some travel activity to our nearshoring department in Warsaw.

As a person you find it easy to network and relate to people making you strong at stakeholder management. You have a long experience leading, supervising and giving empowerment to employees, and you lead by example. You are a present manager good at planning and organizing which make it easy for you to cope with setbacks and pressure.

You will be the manager of a department with a total of approximately 20 employees, when fully staffed, located in both Denmark and Poland. The employees have a background as workplace administrators, testers and students. You will of course take part in the upscaling of the department. The technologies we are working with is VDI and workplace related tools.
You will be a part of a large management community, with the opportunity of participating in our CoP (Community of Practice), where department managers systematically share and develop their professionalism with other department managers within BEC.

- Delivery of stable Workplace Operations to BEC customers and be visible for the customers
- Define right and good handover model from Technical Projects and as general as possible so it can be used across IT Operations as area
- Develop the team so resources are fully utilized across DK and PL
- Transform the department into one united unit together with the employees
- Bring insight and transparency in the deliveries
- Delivery on compliance related tasks
- Budget responsibility for the department

Your profile
As a person you find it easy to network and relate to people making you strong at stakeholder management. You have a long experience leading, supervising and giving empowerment to employees, and you lead by example. You are a present manager good at planning and organizing which make it easy for you to cope with setbacks and pressure.
Furthermore, we would like you to:
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in workplace operations and a relevant education
- Have experience with team leadership and knowledge of enabling a team
- Have a technology level where you are able to challenge the team
- Have a proven track record in automation of infrastructure
- Master the English and Danish language both written and spoken
