With reference to our Vice President IT, you will become a part of the management team in IT and lead the Business Applications team with a total of approximately 20 competent employees including 5 Team Leads. You will be heading a team of experts that have deep technical expertise and process knowledge within ERP, CPQ, ServiceNow, CRM, QMS, PLM and other integrated solutions and integration platforms.
In addition, you will work closely together with business leaders and contribute to strategic planning activities. You will together with your team ensure ideal application support, streamline cross-functional and systems interactions, optimize systems administration, adopt and embrace industry standard security practices, integrate with product platforms along with managing key vendors and contracting resources.
A job with focus on developing business systems architecture
As the Head of Business Applications, you will play a critical role in driving successful internal business partnerships leading out in developing business systems architecture, solutions analysis, process and operations improvements, systems design, development management and strategy recommendations.
In addition, your primary responsibilities will be:
• Managing the application portfolio, including all phases of the application lifecycle, from solution selection and design to deployment and support
• Managing key vendors and contracting resources
• Lead the Business Applications team to help grow skillsets, improve team capabilities and implement best practices
Personality matters
We expect you to have a strong customer-centric mindset and the ability to serve as coach and mentor to ensure that IT is a true business partner for the organisation.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
• A relevant Master’s Degree
• Broad technology experiences, including business process improvement, complex systems integration and application development
• Solid experience in project and application implementations
• Minimum 5 years of relevant leadership experience in a large organization with complex operations
As a person, you have the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You possess strong communication skills and a track record of delivery while partnering with key business stakeholders. You consider yourself as being a self-starter with a strong drive and you have the ability to move and change things and turn strategy into concrete and value adding actions.
It is a requirement that you master English in writing and speaking. Danish will be an advantage.
