With direct reference to our Vice President, Finance, you will be leading a highly dedicated and passionate Controlling team consisting of seven Senior Business Controllers and Business Controllers. You will also be part of the Finance Leadership Team that is chaired by the Vice President, Finance. Together with the Controlling team, you will be responsible for operating at the core of our business, where your financial skills will lead to better decision-making throughout the entire value chain. Together, we make our business run smoothly and contribute to our company’s development and growth.
Head of Controlling with strong analytical and collaborative skills
As our new Head of Controlling, one of your important tasks will be to strengthen the Finance Business Partner concept in Kamstrup. You will be responsible for setting the direction for the Controlling function by working closely together with the business to drive forecasting, reporting and closely follow-up on budget delivery. You will also have a high level of interaction with the other functions within Finance including, Accounting and Business Intelligence for financial consolidation, investments and compliance.
More specific you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring that reliable, on-time and high-quality financial information is provided to the business
• Driving the group wide budgeting process enabling strong collaboration among all stakeholders
• Leading forecasting, reporting, monthly closing and other finance related activities
• Actively engage in defining and executing value-based performance management across the value chain
• Holding the business accountable for delivering business results
Personality matters
You have a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or similar and minimum 8 years of experience from a similar position where you have had managerial responsibility. In addition, it is a requirement that you:
• Have a solid track record of leading business controlling in a global and complex business environment
• Have excellent skills within Excel and other financial tools
• Have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine information from multiple sources
• Have a passion for leadership and personal development
If you have experience from a manufacturing business or management consulting it will be considered an advantage.
As a person you have strong leadership competencies with the ability to listen, create clarity on direction and inspire people to take action towards future goals. You have an analytical and curious approach to your tasks, and you wish to make a difference by taking responsibility. You possess excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization and you are good at creating strong relations. Finally, you are respected for your personal and professional experience and your ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, it is a requirement that you master English and Danish on a high level – both orally and written.
