Head of People & Culture to NoriDane – a growing trading company in Europe
A great opportunity for a P&C or HR Manager or experienced Business Partner to take on an international HR role, where you will work tactically and operationally with the entire HR value chain and provide value-adding support to the CEO and a management team. Together with an HR Specialist in Culture, you will spearhead and build a modern and efficient HR function in an organization, where people and culture are highly prioritized and recognized as success drivers.
It is a newly established role in an organization. In 15 years, NoriDane has grown from one to 100 employees and employing 18 nationalities across 13 markets, and expansion and growth continues. As Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR concepts, policies and processes, and establish a good framework for continuous attraction and development of key staff across the markets.
Your primary workplace will be in central Copenhagen, where NoriDane’s HQ is, and you can expect travelling up to 20-30 days yearly to offices in Norway, Turkey, Spain, Brazil, Mexico to name a few.
The job
As Head of People & Culture, you will, with reference to the CEO, set the HR agenda and priorities for what is needed to make NoriDane an attractive company to existing and new employees and to ensure uniform standards and processes across the markets. As part of your job, it is natural for you to “sell” HR as a value-creating partner, and where you understand how your initiatives can support managers and employees across the organization. One of your focus areas will be to define and execute policies and templates as well as implementing initiatives to attract, develop and retain employees.
Your tactical and operational tasks will include a mix of career plans, employer branding, talent acquisition, on-/offboarding processes, and management development, and over time priorities will change following the overall development of the People & Culture function. One of your focus areas will be to define and execute policies and templates as well as implementing initiatives to attract, develop and retain employees.
Your tactical and operational tasks will include a mix of career plans, employer branding, talent acquisition, on-/offboarding processes, and management development, and over time priorities will change following the overall development of the People & Culture function. When you start in the role, you will look into following:
- Develop an annual HR-plan for people, processes and initiatives and prioritize these, and ensure legislative compliance for these initiatives in the individual markets.
- Together with the CEO and management team ensure a unison approach to policies and guidelines concerning salaries, bonuses, benefits, and more.
- Define and execute on- and offboarding of employees, directly and through managers.
- Set the standards and find tools for engagement surveys and what must be measured.
- Translate company strategy into concrete actions for education, training, and workshops that support realization of the strategy.
- Together with the CCO identify how to attract and retain key commercial people.
- Coach and support management team and staff in their development.

Your experience includes being a versatile HR professional, with an international outlook and who provides high-quality support across the entire employee lifecycle. Specifically, we ask you to reply positively to following:
- A broad HR-generalist profile in development, recruitment, payroll administration, operations, comp&ben and some experience in HR-partnering.
- Knowledge about HR-legal issues for white collar employees, with experience in drafting/managing contract templates.
- Experienced user of MS Office (Excel, PP and Word) and used to navigate in HR-systems.
- Relevant academic credentials on bachelor’s or master’s level.
- Fluent in Danish and high proficiency in English.
