As our new Manager you will be Head of the Procurement and Contract Management department and be a part of the director area: Project Controls.
Your team will consist of 35 people with different skills and experience that supports NNE’s procurement activities across projects. We have an exciting plan to grow and expand further across both NNE Denmark and NNE India, which you will be responsible for.
Our continuous commitment is to deliver as experts and be the professional partner and trusted advisor for the project teams and clients.
We are working in a matrix organization and as Head of the department you will be responsible for supporting and developing the team and building new competences and capabilities, which can support our projects and clients.
We provide procurement and contract management activities on behalf of our customers ranging from a few thousand Danish Kroner up to three-digit million amounts. These could consist of everything from components and minor service orders to large pieces of process and utility equipment or major construction service contracts.
Your department is overall a part of the Project Execution area with more than 400 highly skilled project employees.
As a part of the Project Execution team, you embrace it is a busy and dynamic environment and find it is interesting to work with internal and external stakeholders to get through with your ideas. There are plenty of opportunities and we are ready to invest in the right ideas.

How you might spend your days
As a Manager in Procurement and Contract Management, you’ll be working with a high performing multi-disciplinary team where you’ll:
- motivate, support and coach your team. Provide day-to-day leadership and articulate and develop the strategic vision for your team. Continuously striving for high performance.
- ensure role model stakeholder management and business partnering. Specifically, to ensure a positive relationship and efficient collaboration and communication with customers and various internal stakeholders
- drive a one team mindset across NNE offices.
- coordinate with senior management on procurement processes and systems to ensure effective project management, implementation, and governance across the organization
- set the right teams for the project and allocate resources across projects.
- promote the development, implementation, and training of best procurement practices
- ensure the well-being and continuous growth of the Procurement & Contract Mgt. team
- engage and communicate with senior management on successes, issues and lessons learned and share these across NNE’s organization

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with leadership and management of team leads.
- At least 10 years of relevant procurement & contract management experience in international organizations or in multi-cultural environments
- Skillsets and competences within purchasing, procurement and/or contract management.
- Experience with establishing and driving performance of remote teams
- Experienced in performance management and process improvements related to procurement and contract management.
- Thrive best in a dynamic environment with highly skilled colleagues but understand the benefit of a strategy and a good plan.
- Preferably understanding of and experience with project organizations and governance structures
