Then you might be our new colleague in Safety Reporting and Systems Support (SRSS). The position As Senior Data engineer, you will be part of the SRSS Development team working with the Front Desk, Support & Training and Validation team within SRSS, System Management teams in Global IT and users and stakeholders in Global Safety. You will be responsible for a specific SAS-solution and spend appr. 50% of your time working closely together with Solution owner and super users of the solution. You will take care of development and maintenance and at the same time drive the process, coordinate and communicate with all involved stakeholders and colleagues to deliver and support the use of the solution. In parallel you will be involved in other projects as senior data engineer and/or project lead. You will use your analytical and technical skills combined with business understanding and data knowledge to understand the business requirements. You will proactively use your great development experience, your innovative thinking and your excellent communication skills to guide the users on how to optimize the solutions and the service to support the business in the best possible way. Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have: University degree in a computer science/pharmaceutical science discipline or other relevant background At least 4 years of experience developing advanced solutions with the SAS System with a good track record Experienced in leading projects with up till 5 project members, where you at the same time are responsible for development The ability to quickly get a good understanding of the business, data and solving complex problems Fluent in English both written and spoken (company language) Experience with Databricks is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite Experience from R&D within the Pharma industry is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite As a Person, You are proactive and have the ability to follow through. You have a consultancy mind-set and strong analytical skills. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as well as good coordination and planning skills.
