Vestas is investing heavily in transforming the IT organization to a structure where teams have both development and operations responsibility. In this structure the teams themselves are responsible for testing and releasing their deliveries. We need a skilled test and release management team who can advise and set standards on how to do this.
We are expanding our test & release management team with a test architect, who in collaboration with other team members will be responsible for the modernization of our test and release infrastructure and the transformation of the software test and release management practice.
In collaboration with platform architects, the test & release management team is responsible for implementing and handling release and test processes through development, quality, and production environments. The team drives improvements to the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, testing, deploying, and updating software and environments.

Responsibilities
As a test architect you will have a huge impact on how we work to ensure consistent quality on our enterprise platforms and that we will prioritize the most valuable test improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will be to:
- Formulate the test strategy and processes for enterprise platforms from vendors such as SAP, PTC, Microsoft and SalesForce
- Modernize our test infrastructure
- Update frameworks and best practices for automated System, Integration, Component, Performance, Security testing, etc.
- Qualify tools for test data management including the capability to have production-like test data where needed
- Mature tools for test automation including the capability run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
- Support project and operations teams (with and without dedicated test managers) in defining, planning, and implementing their test and release strategy
- Support our enterprise platform regression test teams
- Actively seek, evaluate, and apply latest trends within software testing
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with software quality assurance
- Hard core experience with software test management/engineering and a proven track record of delivering innovative quality assurance
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering is preferred
- Highly proficient within test management for enterprise platforms, agile test management and test data management
- Solid experience with Automated System, Integration and Component test engineering
- Some experience with Release Management for Enterprise Platforms, CI/CD pipelines and Performance test engineering is an advantage
- Experience with Security test engineering is a plus
