NNE Manufacturing IT is a full-service provider of IT solutions within manufacturing for the pharma and biotech industries. We work with consultancy, design, implementation, and validation of IT solutions.
As a part of NNE, our focus is Manufacturing Execution System (MES), IT infrastructure and software engineering as well as custom-made IT solutions needed in a pharma/biotech facility. In our daily life, we deliver turn-key IT solutions through complex projects and act as individual consultants or advisor within our focus areas. You will be working in an active and challenging department with approximately 75 employed engineers and consultants from other companies.
Novo Nordisk is investing 18 BN DKK in establishing four new manufacturing facilities and expanding three existing facilities at their manufacturing site in Kalundborg. NNE is the engineering partner on several of these major projects and plays an essential role in establishing the new facilities. These will include state-of-the-art production technologies bridged with Novo Nordisk’s more than 50 years of experience in biomanufacturing. How you might spend your days
As a MES Developer, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:
- Working side by side with innovative-thinking colleagues
- Getting the training and guidance to be confident and prepared to help tackle some of our clients’ most complex manufacturing-execution issues
- An active part of our project teams and work with strategic development of solutions within the industry 4.0 domain.
- Advising clients on how to maximize the benefits of their Manufacturing Execution System (MES) offer-ing
- Participating in gathering technical requirements through a variety of techniques (e.g., facilitated workshops, work sessions and interviews, technical analysis)
- Ensuring that workflows / recipes are successfully and compliantly designed, developed, deployed in line with site business processes and technical standards.
- Commissioning, testing and qualifying IT systems in manufacturing environments
- Estimating and coordinating your own tasks

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Have an engineer, computer scientist or similar degree / experience
- Have experience with MES systems like Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade or NNE LMES
- If you have experience from a consultancy company or have project experience this would be a plus
- We will teach what you don’t know! Most important is your experience and your personal profile!
