The aim of the Trial Data Management Graduate Programme is to give you extensive exposure to the role as a Clinical Trial Data Manager (CTDM), with a strong focus on competencies such as project leadership, data literacy, communication and change management. You will gain an understanding of our clinical trial data, IT systems, and data flow.

About the Trial Data Management graduate programme
The two-year programme consists of three rotations in different parts of the Global Development organisation or areas which strong ties to Global Development - but anchored in the Data Management skill area.

You will be given a broad range of Data Management responsibilities on our clinical trials and work with a variety of tasks relating to delivery of a key asset—data from our clinical trials.

You will get a unique insight into the full global development value chain of Novo Nordisk, and you will be part of a highly skilled and motivated international working environment, with dynamic teams, each of which are providing Novo Nordisk with a competitive edge and driving state of the art drug development.

You will enjoy the privilege of being part of both formal and informal graduate networks which will allow you to broaden your learning’s even further, while building your opportunities and relationships across the company.

The position

During the 2-year programme you will undertake three challenging and exciting rotations of 8-months duration each.

The first rotation is planned to take place within Trial Data Management in one of our drug development projects in corporate headquarters in Denmark. The main purpose of this rotation is for the graduate to gain an understanding of the Data Management areas of responsibility and the governance of clinical trials via Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

The second rotation is planned for our Data Management office in Bangalore. This is the rotation where the graduate will gain further insight into Data Management activities as well as gain additional international experience and perspectives. This will give the graduate a unique point of view that will prove invaluable to a global career at Novo Nordisk.

The third rotation will most likely take place in a department with strong ties to Trial Data Management in headquarters, Denmark. During this final rotation the graduate will work more independently and will be able to expand their network, as well as develop further insights into the importance of Data Management in our drug development processes.

Qualifications

To apply for the Trial Data Management graduate programme, you must have:

  • A relevant master’s degree from 2019 or 2020, and above average academic achievements
  • International experience, for example from studying a full semester abroad, working or volunteering
  • Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies
  • An international outlook and the ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Excellent communication skills, high motivation, and a curiosity to keep learning and growing, professionally and personally
  • Professional fluency in English and globally mobile
