QHSE site manager for a Data Center project in Sweden

For CSK Stålindustri A/S we are looking for a QHSE site manager who can build, handle, and control the QHSE tasks that the upcoming construction of a Data Center in Sweden requires.

Job description

In collaboration with the Head of QHSE project manager from CSK, you must first and foremost have the ability to cooperate in an international environment with different nationalities. You become CSK's QHSE representative on the site and have the responsibility of maintaining a good relationship with the company's collaborators while maintaining CSK's interests. As QHSE site manager, you are also responsible for the preparation, calculations, and control of the QHSE tasks on the site, which involves collaboration and coordination with the contractors. Also you must handle the inspections that may be initiated from the customer's organization.

In the role of QHSE site manager, you will also act as a link between the site in Sweden and the back office in Denmark. This is done in collaboration with the responsible Head of QHSE project manager. On site, you will also work together with the Site Project Manager from CSK. Both of you will be working and monitoring the construction process on site on a daily basis.

The basic project organization

In addition, your work tasks will include:

• Preparation of documentation
  
  
• Preparation of RAMS (Risk Assessment Method State)
  
  
• On a daily basis, ensure that CSK installation teams have the permits and other relevant QHSE documents required to comply with applicable project and site rules.
  
  
• Managing the daily communication on the site in relation to QHSE tasks and questions
  
  
• Coordination with the back office in relation to management and forward-looking initiatives that will keep CSK as a professional partner in all matters
  
  

Your professional profile

• You have experience with QHSE, preferably within steel and steel construction, or within building construction and have practical experience from a construction site.
  
  
• You can document this professionalism from other projects.
  
  
• If you have previously been posted and thereby gained experience in working with different nationalities, it would be an advantage.
  
  
• You can communicate in English in speech and writing.
  
  
• You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and MS Project.
  
  
• You have knowledge of EN ISO 9001: 2015 and EN ISO 1090-2.

Expected start-up is October 1st, 2019. Training takes place on sites in Denmark where CSK already has projects. Subsequently, the project start is expected in Sweden on April 1st, 2020.
