Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Sourcing Project Manager within our Heating Segment who has extensive purchasing skills and a solid understanding of project management. You will be responsible for sourcing projects and executing cost-down activities in order to secure the fulfillment of procurement targets. Your mission will be to secure the achievement of Procurement targets and thereby support the overall Danfoss business journey of profitable growth. You will be part of a team of five Sourcing Project Managers, wherein you will be responsible for sourcing projects for one of the product lines in the Residential Heating Division. Your key tasks will be to:
The position is preferably located in Nordborg and approximately 15-20 travel days per year should be expected. You will report to the Senior Manager for Project Procurement in Residential Heating.
Background and skills
You hold a relevant BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent, combined with experience from procurement (negotiation, supplier relationship management, etc.) and project-, stakeholder- and change management. Experience with procurement of mechanical parts is an advantage.
You can work cross-functionally with people on many levels in the organization and with suppliers. You have the ability to create relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple functions (R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, etc.). You can communicate with and challenge the stakeholders and demonstrate strong skills within negotiation, communication and project management. You have gained a large part of your experience in an international company, and you have good analytical skills combined with technical and financial understanding. Moreover, you are familiar with SAP related purchasing processes, and you are proficient in Excel and the rest of MS Office. Your proactive, committed and supportive approach towards a given task ensures optimal execution and cooperation with all stakeholders. As we are working across countries, excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, are a must.

- Take the lead on building, executing and following up on pipeline activities and projects for achieving cost optimizations (technical cost down, resourcing, etc.).
- Drive hands-on project management and execution of cost down projects.
- Follow up on deliverables and impact for the overall cost-down project portfolio.
- Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with our key suppliers.
