Power Solutions Turbine Solutions Control & Auxiliary Power
In Control & Auxiliary Power, we have the responsibility of the LV systems in the turbine. In our daily work we are in very close interaction with our main stakeholder as we support all systems in the turbine, across both onshore and offshore projects. The team is involved in various activities including innovation projects, feasibility studies and prototype testing, while focusing on product development as our main objective. The core outputs within Control and Auxiliary power are specification and design of the LV electrical cabinets and integration in the turbine. Our core competencies are within electrical engineering, integration of products and requirements specifications for LV cabinets. In everything we do we strive to display strong leadership and build products based on robust design.
Responsibilities
As Electrical Engineer CAP, your main responsibilities is to handle and provide solutions for the APS system, in Control infrastructure.

Responsibilities
As Electrical Engineer CAP, your main responsibilities is to handle and provide solutions for the APS system, in Control infrastructure.
This include:
- You will be responsible for designing and delivering high quality design solutions on time, on budget and efficiency improvement
- Working in close interaction and collaboration with our global R&D teams as well as external suppliers
- Creating designs according to Vestas stage gate model, from early idea/concept development stage, detailed design through verification and implementation
- Providing electrical support to Service Technicians in troubleshooting and repair via phone / ticket or on site
- Evaluating damages on main components and perform RCAs, give recommendations to Service organisations
- Identify, develop and validate technical improvement measures as part of the continuous improvement process
- Providing answers to technical questions to internal and external stakeholders, taking part in customer or supplier meetings and seminars
Qualifications
- B.Sc.E.E, M.Sc.E.E, Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering or other relevant education
- Experience with LV cabinet design
- Detailed knowledge of LV component and system testing
- Excellent communication skills in English orally and written
- Working experience from a global company would be an advantage
- Knowledge on IEC and UL standards

- You are proactive; result-oriented and have a strong sense of responsibility
- You have an excellent commercial/business understanding
- You find it challenging and interesting to work with other people in a large organisation and are capable of building up an intensive network across cultures and time zones
- You have a high level of drive and get things done
- You are customer-oriented and have the ability to understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective
