Job Description
Danfoss Drives is looking for an ECAD Engineer to join a global organization, which is leading in developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art frequency converters. You will be based in Gråsten, Denmark and will work with our main manufacturing and R&D sites in Denmark, the U.S., China and Finland. You will be in contact with a wide range of stakeholders and create alignment within the production, and, together with the rest of the project team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing new products as well as existing designs.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have proven work experience in ECAD and production of electronics, or you can be a newly graduate (2+ years of experience) with an eagerness to learn and develop. We expect that you have knowledge within board-design, both high and low voltage, and layout based on IPC standards. You will be responsible for board-designs, change control as well as focusing on analysis and problem solving in order to optimize design and reduce errors. Your key tasks include:

- Draw schematics in CR8000 Design Gateway in close corporation with HW engineers
- Complete layouts, both high and low voltage, with the use of CR5000 Board Designer, in close corporation HW engineers and supply chain representatives
- SI and PI simulation with the use of CR8000
- Assist the ECAD librarian with defining and creation of components
- Maintain design guidelines together with colleagues in close collaboration with internal PCBA production.
- Engage in aligning procedures and design rules for the functional area.
