Job Description
Danfoss Heating is looking for a Senior Engineer for our Heat Exchanger Division in Kolding, Denmark. Your main role is to drive and lead heat exchanger modelling and mechanical design projects. You will be responsible for creating design verification procedures, conducting performance tests and building further functional excellence for heat exchanger design and performance analysis. You will play a key role in the global R&D and product engineering team. In total the function has approximately 35 employees and cover the areas: Product research, product design, customer projects and production tools. Working with colleagues across functions and locations is key in achieving this successfully. As a person, you are initiative, responsible and possess the right balance between creativity and quality in our solutions. You are analytical and a strong team player who can interact and communicate well with people across borders and cultures.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering with thermal specialization (preferred), as well as:

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering with thermal specialization (preferred), as well as:
- 8+ years of experience with specification, design and development of heat transfer products
- Detailed knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer
- User experience with Matlab and ESS tools preferred
- Good project leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
- Good communication skills in both English and Danish is preferred
