About the opportunity
As our new Investor Relations (IR) student, you will have a unique opportunity to influence our investor relations strategy and work with our Business Development regarding M&A targets. You will work closely with the IR team, to set the strategic direction for investor presentations and other investor material in Ambu. Furthermore you will also work with the Business Development team on business analysis and financial analysis of M&A targets as needed.
Working out of our headquarters in Ballerup, you will have an exciting and fast-paced job in a newly established Investor Relation team. You will hold a key position in Ambu where your efforts matter and are very visible for top management.
Your primary areas of responsibility will be to:
Responsible for calendar planning regarding investor meetings for management and for tracking investor meetings/calls in our IR CRM system Write quarterly and annual report together with the IR team in collaboration with the finance and communication department Complete general analysis (in Excel and PowerPoint), decision material and recommendations to Ambu top management and the Ambu Board of Directors Prepare quarterly investor PowerPoint presentations and other strategic presentations to management Support Business Development with business analysis and financial analysis of M&A targets as needed
We expect you to work around 15-20 hours per week corresponding to no less than 2 days a week. We are of course flexible in exam periods and during the summer holiday.
Preferably you are studying in the area of economic, business economics, finance, or strategy. We expect that you have a strong academic background in relevant fields and it is important that you are proactive and like to take ownership of tasks.
In the position as a IR student you will refer to the IR Manager Nicolai Thomsen.
A strong commercial mindset and great Excel and writing skills
You need to have a strong commercial mindset. You must be energetic and have a solid toolbox of analytical and strategic skills to be successful in the job. It is important that you have a structured and systematic approach to your tasks. You need to have sublime interpersonal skills as you will work with professional internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you proactively manage your own work and navigate within the team and organization to find the help and support needed.
It is crucial that you have strong oral and writing skills in both Danish and English as you will write part of the annual and quarterly reports. You also need to have strong PowerPoint skills as you will prepare PowerPoint presentations to the management and the Board and it goes without saying that you need to master Excel and be able to handle numbers in Excel. If you have an overall understanding of valuation models incl. a DCF model it is an advantage as you will work with our Business Development team regarding business cases and valuation of M&A targets as needed.
