Siemens Gamesa is looking for a global controlling and consolidation specialist to join the Service Technology Controlling team, to focus on consolidation of the global Service Technology function in Pamplona (Spain) and Brande, Denmark. The Service Technology function employs more than 500 people across the globe.
You engage with the controlling colleagues across the globe in 6 different countries and with key stakeholders from the Service Technology organization in Spain and Denmark to get insight into the activities in the function. You use this insight proactively with the aim to reach the business targets of the function.
About the role
As a global controlling and consolidation specialist you create consolidated transparency of the financial performance in the organization, so it is clear what proactively needs to be done to ensure that the function delivers according to budget and forecast on its P&L and cash flow.
About you
You probably have a degree in finance, accounting or economics and have at least 5 years of experience as a controller, financial analyst or similar. You like to work with large amounts of financial data maybe as user or key-user of databases. You are highly skilled with excel, have some user experience with databases like SQL or personal interest in learning it. If you have experience with SAP it would be an advantage but not a requirement.
You have an international mind-set, maybe you have spent time abroad, and have integrity and take pride in meeting deadlines timely and of high quality. As part of the organization is in Spain and part in Denmark, it is expected that you can travel up to 15 days per year.
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.

- You are responsible for timely consolidating the global forecast and budget for the main financial KPIs in the Service Technology organization to both the financial leadership team in Service and the business leadership in the Service Technology organization
- You ensure that the monthly consolidated financial management report of the Technology function is accurate and reliable with input from other Service Technology controlling team members
- You consolidate and create detailed analysis of the cost, revenue, cash flow and headcount to ensure transparency of the financial data
- As part of the monthly reporting you create monitoring reports of productivity in Technology, so it is clear which departments in the function have productivity slippages
