Do you thrive in a diverse role working both with Finance Applications as well as supporting the finance teams in the use of these? Would you enjoy interacting with a large variety of colleagues and influencing journey of the continuous adoption of Workday Finance Applications?

Stibo Systems is seeking a new team member to join the Global Finance Team. This position will report into VP of Finance Planning and Analytic and is based out of our HQ in Aarhus, Denmark.

The job
Your primary focus will be on the continuous support, maintenance and development of our Workday Financial Applications and integrated solutions to ensure we as a Finance Team can support the ever-changing business requirements by ensuring top-tuned finance platform that is scalable and provide transparent data.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Create and maintain finance related custom reports and dashboards in Workday and Adaptive.

  • Experience process design, planning and managing execution of the build and integration of Workday and Adaptive

  • Gathering business and security requirements, and together with external consultant’s design, configure, test and document the implemented solutions.

  • Implement and build in automation into process chains to provide efficiency

  • During the bi-yearly Workday release cycle, you will be responsible for identifying Finance related items in Workday Release Notes and review and test impact of these together with the Finance Team and other teams within Stibo Systems.


You will also support our Finance Team during internal and external audits, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.

The team
You will be working with the other members of our Finance Team as well as having a strong partnership with the other Workday HCM and PSA Specialists and reporting specialists within Stibo Systems. The Finance team is around 20 people with a good mix in gender and age.

Who we are searching for
As a person you are motivated by exploring new ideas and will master new areas quickly by balancing the need for both “big picture”-thinking as well as respecting the necessary level of attention to detail. You have a positive and proactive mindset when it comes to challenges paired with good problem-solving skills.

Experience with Workday or another ERP system will be a plus, not a requirement.

Futhermore, you have:

  • Several years of experience working in a similar role

  • You have good understanding of financial accounting and general accepted accounting principles.

  • Proven knowledge and experience with Finance modules (Financials, Accounts, Project Billing, Projects, Expenses, Customer Contracts) and Adaptive Planning

  • An analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail, interested in working closely with stakeholders across the organization

  • Effective communication, organization, interpersonal, collaboration and project management skills

  • A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view

  • English and Danish language skills – writing and speaking



You do not need to tick of all the boxes, but we are looking for an experienced
profile. Training courses may be provided.
