As a trusted finance partner you will be supporting our platform lead(s). You will partner with the Maersk leadership team, to support various products and solutions within the Technology function.

The Financial Business Partner (FBP) will drive financial performance for the platform area by providing leadership, guidance and support on financial information, business performance and implementation of strategies.

The successful person will demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills, financial aptitude, customer oriented, business intuition, ability to manage day-to-day financials details and the capacity to work at multiple levels, including partnering with all levels of management, including Technology staff, HR and Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end financial planning and spend forecast cycles for the Cyber and Global Data Analytics platform areas
  • Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers and
  • contribute to business decisions by leaders, internal and external
  • partners
  • Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting in support of executive management and assist in assessing best alternative strategies
  • Own IO governance for the platform portfolio and drive risk and opportunities views when new investment/initiatives are submitted for approval
  • Manage the financial processes and workflow with the GSC in India
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional, intra-divisional, and/or global finance projects
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation to achieve better results; Follow standards and ensure compliance with policies as defined by Corporate

We are looking for:

As the successful candidate you will be confident in your knowledge and background of financial planning, forecasting and analysis. Together with that you will be a true partner to senior management and be able to communicate, collaborate, challenge and counsel them on financial decisions.

This role needs your stakeholder management skills and ability to advise management on sound decisions and “what good looks like” as well as your financial know-how.
