Driving a cultural transformation requires a dedicated effort to ensure individuals as well as organisations are guided and supported properly through the changes. To create the needed impact and adoption, you constantly need to be one step ahead in the change curve. Global IT in Novo Nordisk has recently embarked on a journey to become an Agile organisation. A significant change, impacting processes, team structures and ways of working for more than 1,200 employees across the global organisation. For this, we need a strong Change Management Lead to help us navigate the change.

About the department
Global IT is responsible for implementing and managing critical IT systems and services across the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk. The Agile Transformation Programme is anchored in the CIO Office, reporting directly to the CIO of Novo Nordisk. We are a team 15 dedicated colleagues working to define and implement an Agile strategy and approach to be applied across the global organisation.

The team is based in Bagsværd, but we support the Greater Copenhagen area and eventually our Indian colleagues in Bangalore, India.

The position
You will be 1 of 2 Change Management Leads working closely with the Product Owner/Programme Manager and senior management to define strategic initiatives to support and accelerate the implementation of Agile methods and mindsets. You will primarily be responsible for driving communication- and stakeholder-related initiatives whereas the other lead will be handling training.

Current communication- and stakeholder initiatives include online engagement sessions, management presentations, newsletters and workshops, but you will also engage with local teams to support and coach them in how to drive change. The on-going development of strategies and activities will be based on experiences and learnings, which leaves plenty of room for you to impact and add your fingerprint to the journey.

As part of the role you will take active part in a cross-organisational change management Centre of Practice (CoP) focusing on how to combine Change Management and Agile methodology in a Novo Nordisk context. Through the CoP you will collect input and learnings from the organisations and make sure these are anchored in the continued development of the guidance to the organisation.

Qualifications
You have a Master’s degree in Business IT, Communication or another relevant field and experience working with change management in an agile setting. You are an excellent communicator and engage well with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You take initiative and work independently, but you also prioritize and appreciate team efforts. Working in an agile context means that the team constantly prioritizes the most critical activities and as part of the team, you are therefore expected to chip in where needed. You have a learning mindset and an ability to adjust your activities to the constantly changing needs of the organisation.
