Do you want to be part of bringing Research & Early Development to the next level of automation & digitalisation? Join us to lead projects enabling fully automated lab processes, future planning concepts, Information Technology to replace manual processes and systems for data management. The position You will be handling key investment in Information Technology and/or automation to enable Research and Early Development deliver on our aspirations for increased transparency, reduced time to market and a growing portfolio of increased complexity. You will lead the projects from the initial idea to execution of the project including purchasing and commissioning. For automation projects minor facility rebuild projects may also be a part of the total project in scope. Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Define the overall scope of a project including business case, budget, and time schedule – in close collaboration with the assigned project manager from line of business.
  • Organise and lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion of all project deliverables.
  • Provide periodic project status and updates to steering committees and other relevant stakeholders including risk assessment and mitigation actions, financial updates, short- and long-term project outlook, etc.
  • Practise extensive collaboration with other relevant stakeholders within Novo Nordisk as well as externally, to gain and incorporate best practises into the projects.
    • Qualifications
  • Being able to demonstrate experience in managing complex, cross-functional IT, technical or automation projects
  • As this is a senior position, you are expected to be proactive, self-driven and pragmatic.
  • Broad knowledge to comprehend and drive projects of high complexity with many stakeholders from different areas of expertise
  • A curious mindset and a willingness to learn and develop your skill set throughout your employment.
  • Preferably experience from leading investment projects or handling budgets
  • Preferably experience from regulated industries
    • About the department Digital Investment Management is a diverse team of 5 project managers who all work in the same domain as you. We focus on major investment projects (15 MDKK) across the area which support digitalisation and automation. Our sister departments cover CAPEX R&D investments. We support both laboratories as well as manufacturing and distribution drug candidates for pre- and clinical trials. In our department is also a high number of student assistants who can support you in your daily work.
