The Position As an Associate Manager you will be part of the management team consisting of 5 Associate Managers, a Director and an Administrative Coordinator, managing with a wide array of stakeholders across Pilot plants in Bagsværd, Hillerød and Gentofte. Your main tasks will be to: Ensure compliance in classified areas due to Environmental Monitoring, Gowning and Cleanroom Cleaning, and Clean Utilities Foster and develop a dedicated, professional, proactive, and empowered team Apply your team strengths in the daily operation of existing plants Apply your team strengths in active involvement in investment projects across the CMC API Pilots. The main objective is to establish production-ready facilities capable of manufacturing the drug substance (API) or intermediate to API, in sufficient quantity and quality for use in clinical studies. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: Master of science in Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineer, Pharmaceutical or similar A good technical insight will be an advantage Experience from the pharma industry and have knowledge of GMP will be an advantage Good communications skills in Danish and English. About the Department Our department CMC API Pilots Operations is organizationally placed in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC) API Pilots with about 350 employees. Here API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing and process development of new API candidates for all Novo Nordisk is performed. Here in CMC API Pilots Operations, we create the framework for the Pilot facilities to produce as much API as possible. We do this by ensuring a production-ready facility with stable supplies and sufficient capacity of maintained and calibrated equipment for the production and development of API. The EM and Clean utility monitoring team, which you will lead, employs 14 skilled chemists, technicians and operators. We contribute to API production, mainly by securing compliance in classified areas do to environmental monitoring, gowning and cleanroom cleaning, and compliance in Clean Utilities.
