Then you may be our new scientist within API process development. The Position We are expanding our capacity and capabilities within High-Throughput Screening (HTS) and automation applied for downstream development and your responsibilities and employment terms will reflect your experience and competencies in this area. In this position you will primarily be responsible for planning and executing screening experiments in our new automation laboratory. You will be responsible for: Execution of automated screenings on our existing liquid handling stations
The required analysis on different analytical instruments such as UPLC/HPLC, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), LabChip (capillary electrophoresis), GyroLab (Elisa)
Lab equipment including troubleshooting on technical issues and coordination of maintenance
Coordinating the required analytical equipment for screening within the laboratory
Performing, evaluating, and reporting experimental work in the laboratory
You will collaborate closely with scientists and laboratory technicians both within the automation laboratory and within the department. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: A scientific degree within a relevant field
Experience with protein and peptide chemistry and different analytical methods such as HPLC/UPLC, DLS, capillary electrophoresis and Elisa
Hands-on experience with liquid handling systems such Freedom Evo or Fluent
Driven complex tasks independently and can set direction when challenges arise in your projects
Good communication skills in English

About the Department The job is placed in the department Downstream Development in CMC Development & Scaling, located in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our main responsibility is to develop downstream processes for new proteins and peptides used in clinical trials. We do so in close collaboration with the research and manufacturing units, production facilities, and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs).
