The position is located in our Immuno-Science and Oncology Department within our Biomarker and Research division.
The Department
We offer a unique position in a young and dynamic environment in a smaller organization with an opportunity to influence your own role within the company. You will be one of the important links between the internal scientific groups and external collaborators/clients focusing on biomarker sales and business development. The position is an important key function in a highly active research-organization with world-wide reach and you will operate in an atmosphere driven by science and good ideas, in which you can make a difference. If you like challenging tasks in a strong international and successful company, we might be the right fit for you.
The position
Your main responsibility will be driving leads into long-term business relationships, while maintaining existing customer relations. The daily tasks include:
Qualifications
Preferably you have a BSc, MSc, PhD within the life/health science area (e.g. pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, industrial medicine or a business education with focus on the healthcare industry) and 5-10 years of work experience with a proven sales track record within B2B sales within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry worldwide. Basic knowledge and understanding of human anatomy and physiology is a must as well as knowledge and experience in the field of immune science and oncology is a strong plus. Your English skills (written and oral) are excellent.
You are a self-starter, result oriented and possesses a hard-working attitude. You work persistent and systematically with the customers to reach the company financial forecasts and thereby grow the business. You are able to see opportunities and you strive to deliver a high quality in your work and a very good service to our customers.

The position
Your main responsibility will be driving leads into long-term business relationships, while maintaining existing customer relations. The daily tasks include:
- Identification of new customers and maintaining existing customers by offering a best in class service
- Setting up teleconferences, arranging customer meetings and attending international conferences
- Preparing quote proposals in close collaboration with the research team in Herlev and negotiating and closing contracts
- Approximately 30 - 40 travel days annually
Qualifications
Preferably you have a BSc, MSc, PhD within the life/health science area (e.g. pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, industrial medicine or a business education with focus on the healthcare industry) and 5-10 years of work experience with a proven sales track record within B2B sales within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry worldwide.
