BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - NORDICS

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales and commercial success of the Cascadion product portfolio (system and consumables) in the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway).
You will be joining Clinical Mass Spectrometry, part of the Clinical Diagnostics Division, which leverages Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) technology in a turnkey fully automated system - the Cascadion SM Clinical Analyser. Our customers will benefit from best in class technology in an easy to use format.

How will you make a difference?

This is a once in career opportunity to work with a truly game-changing and innovative product!

As the Business Development Manager in the Nordics you will be responsible for delivering the product to our customers, helping them to make the world healthier. You will play a key role in the commercial success of this highly innovative testing solution specifically designed for the clinical laboratory.

What will you do?

In this role you will be sales focused and drive the strategic identification, qualification and securing of business opportunities in the Nordics by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with potential customers.
You will be part of a growing and changing team and will act as a commercial champion, coaching and supporting future sales representatives with specialized expertise on the testing solution.
You will report into Sarah Robinson, Sales Manager Cascadion who is located in the UK and you will be an essential team member who feels comfortable delivering strong communication with the Management team and working closely with the commercial team and service/support team.

Your responsibilities:
• Drive to close deals with early adopters, engaging in their total customer experience to guarantee long term satisfaction and loyalty. Share experience and best practice of product sales with colleagues. Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness
• Execute territory planning and map out and target Key Opinion Leaders.
• Achieve commercial targets and increasing sales by actively selling and developing tactical plans to maximize revenues.
• Coach and support Sales Representatives as a commercial champion with specialized expertise.
• Accurately document sales activities in the CRM and prepare sales forecast report with high accuracy.
• Attend applicable sales meetings, training programs and exhibitions
• Collaborate with field application scientists, service engineers and sales representatives.
• Actively initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance work quality and effectiveness.

We are looking for someone with:
• A University degree in a science subject and ideally understand LCMS technology
• Solid sales experience and ideally account management experience.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Knowledge of the Clinical Laboratory environment and experience of Clinical Analysers. An understanding of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage customer's senior management, and close deals over $1M in value, including the ability to handle complex decision-making scenarios
• An independent approach to their work – someone who enjoys driving their own work forwards and is self-motivated to achieve strong results.
• The ability to travel around 60% of the time.
• Demonstrated customer management skills.
• Good awareness of risk in the sales decision process and be able to secure orders through effective risk management, particularly through the use of compelling financial models where appropriate.
