About the job
We’re looking to hire an experienced Development Manager for our Open Api Trading team to help us keep growing. The team consists of 3 testers, 10 developers and a Scrum master and is responsible for exposing the underlying trading platform functionality to the UI through common APIs.
Responsibilities
- As Line Manager to the developers in the team, keep them engaged and motivated and have focus on their personal and professional growth
- Be involved with creating scope and milestones for projects that the team is either responsible for or is a major contributing factor to
- Support the Quarterly Planning of our organization with team capacity reports and ensure the team is in a position to support the critical initiatives of Saxo Bank
- Work with Scrum Master to ensure team commitments are delivered on time and with quality
- Work together with the team Tech Lead and Team Scrum Master to ensure the overall coherency between project deliveries, technical deliveries and team composition and skillset
- Identify, nurture and build our next generation of star employees in Technology
Qualifications
- You must be a very empathic person
- Strong coaching skills and a lot of experience with practicing these
- Experience with organizing training initiatives for departments within a company
- Extensive knowledge of management theory and practical applications in the workplace
- Ability to communicate effectively within all layers of the organization both orally and in writing
- Hands-on experience with agile software development from a developer standpoint
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience with change management
- Effective organizer and able to manage many activities concurrently
