The position
As Associate Manager, you will have responsibility for the growing Digitalization within DAS department. This department is responsible for digital projects, ranging from dashboards to cloud application infrastructure and applied machine learning for decision making and business insights.
Your responsibilities will include:
Moreover, you will assist in hiring, attracting, onboarding, and retaining skilled and motivated professionals, as well as cooperate with various stakeholders and be the face of the team towards the business.

About the department
The department CMC Data Applications and Support (DAS) is part of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) within Novo Nordisk’s Research & Early Development (R&ED) family. We are a support department for injectable and oral product development and consist of several experienced Data-, Cloud-, and Software-Engineers. We aim to create a paradigm altering approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalizing the processes. The position
As Associate Manager, you will have responsibility for the growing Digitalization within DAS department. This department is responsible for digital projects, ranging from dashboards to cloud application infrastructure and applied machine learning for decision making and business insights.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage with a growth mindset and ensure individual talent development.
- Support the team and the department manager in communicationg the digital transformation, vision and IT and Data strategy.
- Ensure the right composition of skills to meet the needs emerging from the business and from within the department.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations and long-term planning of resources. This includes:
- Plan and facilitate team meetings: Planning and status meetings, knowledge sharing sessions etc.
- Facilitate internal standard definitions.
- Help facilitate agile project management.
- Assist in resolving blockers.

- Experience in people management, with proficient leadership capabilities and motivation to nurture a great working environment.
- Previously successfully motivated and raised diverse team performance.
- Experience using agile methodologies but still you are comfortable adapting the process to fit the need.
- Fluency in Danish and English with good presentation skills.
