As laboratory technician in Analysis & Separation you will be working with the development of analytical separation methods for drug development in the early research pipeline. Your daily routine may vary from standard laboratory tasks to more challenging and innovative work. The department covers the entire research portfolio, and you will be involved in several research and technology projects simultaneously. We work in cross-organisational project teams, and your tasks involve planning, executing, evaluating and documenting experiments in collaboration with the project responsible scientist. Your daily work includes development of new analysis methods and analysis of samples, as well as subsequent data analysis and calculation of results. You enjoy identifying and solving experimental issues, performing instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. You take an active part in optimising our work processes including automation and data handling methodologies. The department is heavily equipped with instrumentation and part of your work is to handle service and contracts with service providers. With different nationalities in the team and the company, both working and social language is English. Qualifications You have/are Education as Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technologist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within drug analysis development in industry or university setting Experienced in UPLC/HPLC liquid chromatographic separation techniques, method development, instrumentation handling, maintenance and troubleshooting Highly experienced with chromatographic software (e.g. Empower) and consider IT as an integrated part of your work Structured in your work and used to performing tasks independently Strong commitment to high quality analysis, data handling, and documentation (e.g. electronic laboratory notebook) Able to communicate your lab results in English, both orally and written, contributing to reports and presentations An advantage if you have experience within capillary electrophoresis analysis

About the department The department Analysis and Separation is part of Global Research Technologies at Novo Nordisk. Our shared ambition is to develop fit-for-purpose analytical separation methods for characterisation of injectable and oral formulations of proteins, peptides and oligonucleotides, expanding into other therapeutic modalities. The department consists of 9 enthusiastic and motivated colleagues, both scientists and technicians. We work with a wide range of analytical separation and detection techniques (RPC, SEC, IEC, HILIC, Affinity-LC, 2D-LC, cIEF, CZE, CE-SDS, MALS, RI, FLD, MS).
