Then you could be our new Learning Officer joining the Digital Science Academy team in the Digital & Research Intelligence area.The position offers you a unique opportunity to be a strong and visible driver of initiatives with a wide range of internal stakeholders in R&ED and external universities and partners, which will signifi-cantly impact the digitalisation of Novo Nordisk Research & Early Development (R&ED).About the areaDigital & Research Intelligence (DRI) is a new area that is dedicated to developing and driving exter-nal collaborations and ensuring access to emerging technologies relevant to the digital transfor-mation of R&ED. DRI provides a modern Scientific Intelligence unit to assuring access to external and internal scientific data and information, will establish operations to facilitate maturation of new ideas and develop an educational framework to drive the digital journey of early research.Digital & Research Intelligence is part of Digital Science & Innovation (DSI), which was recently estab-lished to drive digitalisation across Research & Early Development (R&ED). DSI participates in drug development projects across the value chain, from early discovery to pre-clinical development.About the Position Together with the Digital Science Academy (DSA) team, you will be responsible for building coherent and inspirational learning journeys through a vast amount of digital educational options for early research employees.The successful candidate for this role will assist in creating and maintaining global access to tailored educational programs and courses designed together with internal and external partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams comprising your DSA colleagues and end users in DSI and R&ED to build valuable customized educational programs aligned with our strategic direction. You will set up a dynamic feedback structure, follow several learning courses as key-account and develop new exciting digital learning options that cater to the digital needs of research & early development.Relevant educational topics of interest cover areas such as data science approach, utilization of big data, AI/machine learning algorithms, data management, data mining, bioinformatics approaches or platforms and systems relevant for data registration & information sharing.As Learning Officer of the Digital Science Academy, you will report to Carolina Benjaminsen, Senior Director and Head of Digital Science Academy and Ideation Lab in Digital & Research Intelligence.Key responsibilitiesThe right candidate will have a strong track record in learning and/or computer science/data science and will use insights in early pharmaceutical research to facilitate the establishment of tailored courses and programs within the Digital Science Academy to the needs of R&ED.Preferably you will have a clear understanding of the scientific trends and challenges of early drug discovery and research, and you will handle these in agreement with our strategic aspirations for digitalisation. Together with the DSA team, you will be able to set the direction for what cours-es/training should be developed and/or made available for different employees and research sites. In addition to that, you will:• Be responsible for the planning, development & implementation of several educa-tion/training options relevant to the digitalisation of R&ED
• Monitor and identify new potential collaboration opportunities for boosting educational as-pects of digitalisation
• Conduct a close collaboration with employee groups in R&ED
• Build and maintain an informative and inspirational learning platform as a one-point-entry for all DSA’s learning activitiesQualifications• MSc or Ph.D. in computational science, data science, learning, or biopharma related disciplines
• Project manager or project coordinator experience
• +3 years of experience in a corporate learning setting, and/or responsible for digitalisation of an industrial company and/or proven expertise in digitalisation of early research and drug discovery in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• Strong IT/data science understanding and knowledge
• Experience in the development and execution of learning courses/programs
• Interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
• Excellent team player, who takes the initiative, is self-driven, and solves problems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
• Identification with our Novo Nordisk core values
• The ideal candidates have an excellent track record in developing corporate learning pro-grams on the digital aspects of drug discovery.
