R&D Quality seeks an engaged and dedicated VP Assistant with deep knowledge of and interest in IT aspects to drive continuous digital improvement activities together with the VP and great colleagues across R&D Quality. This is a temporary position with a period until the end of December 2023 with a possibility for extension. The position You will take up the administrative responsibility for a department and will support the Vice President for R&D Quality, Global Safety, Regulatory Affairs and IT and the team. In this role, you will be offered a challenging and exciting position in a dynamic environment and will be responsible for a broad spectrum of both IT and administrative tasks, including: Support to the VP in driving a digital mindset across the organisation Support the VP in driving the digital transformation of R&D Quality and contribute to the implementation of ongoing and future digital solutions Support to the R&D Quality area by providing guidance and training in digital solutions Prepare and control Line of Business budgets, follow-up on invoice and expense handling, personnel administration, onboarding of employees, support with course administration Provide general administrative support to the VP such as coordination of meetings and seminars, preparation of agendas and minutes, support to presentation material, communication, travel arrangements, and settling of travel expenses Administer and maintain the area websites and prepare graphical presentations in PowerPoint Taking on this central role is a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth in a global company. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we envision you have: An administrative background Flair for IT, mainly SharePoint, new digital solutions and tools at superuser / specialist level Experience from a similar position preferably within the pharmaceutical industry Experience with planning and controlling budgets and a flair for numbers High level of professional English (both written and spoken) and good communication skills You enjoy being the go-to person, have a can-do attitude and see it as your responsibility to make sure that the office is running smoothly regardless of the task. You use your structured approach to stay on top of any projects and have the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment. About the area R&D Quality is responsible for quality across the R&D organisation. The area is divided in 4 departments R&D Quality Operations, Clinical Quality & Compliance, DDS Quality and RA, GS & IT Quality.
