Søborg

Do you want to work in one of the most exciting areas of the pharmaceutical value chain, and have an impact on improving patients’ lives, by supporting education for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)?

We are recruiting for the position as (Senior) Partner working with Independent Medical Education (IME) Grants. The key responsibility in the role includes driving the full grant management lifecycle from the receipt of proposals from external vendors to performance evaluation of the activities that we have supported. Does this sound exciting to you? Then scroll down for more information and do not hesitate to apply!

About the department

You get the opportunity to join an international, high performing team with a variety of backgrounds working across the Novo Nordisk portfolio. Besides working with IME, we are also responsible for partnerships with Medical Associations. We use our differences to challenge each other to ensure high performance, create novel ideas, and develop high-quality solutions. We maintain great relationships with our stakeholders across the organisation and enjoy having fun in the team.

The position

As our new (Senior) Partner for IME Grants, you will be responsible for managing grant requests through their review, contracting, execution and grant close-out phases. This includes:

  • Leading the review of grant applications for strategic alignment in line with the medical education strategies
  • Assessing their potential impact
  • Ensuring compliance with internal/external regulations
  • Interacting with internal colleagues to make support recommendations
  • Coordinating the communication activities aimed at increasing the awareness of available medical education programs internally.

You will also be monitoring the quality and impact of supported programmes, by developing reports on IME outcomes, analysing the insights, and communicating these achievements effectively to internal stakeholders. Due to the nature of the job, our new (Senior) Partner interacts regularly with multiple stakeholders at HQ and global level.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is interested in – first and foremost - making a difference for patients living with the diseases we work in through the funding of impactful IME programmes.

Apart from that, you possess:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field combined with 3-5 years of strong project management experience in cross-functional projects
  • Fluency in oral and written English
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or with a communications agency or education provider would be beneficial
  • Experience within medical education, particularly in CME (continuing medical education), principles of adult and clinical learning, and outcomes methodology
  • Ability to interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms for the collection, review, and communication of medical education grants
  • Experience with data and information visualization would be beneficial, but not required.

On a personal level, we are looking for someone who is eager to collaborate with different stakeholders and have a service-minded approach while being an excellent and convincing communicator. You are excited by the possibility of working with a lot of independence, while taking the responsibility to set direction within your therapy area(s), align across functions and keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly. Finally, you bring a can-do attitude, a collaborative mindset and a healthy sense of humour to your work even when the pressure is on.
