The position
The PFDD Professional is a first-of-its-kind position in Novo Nordisk to strengthen our commitment to patient centricity further.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Set up optimal patient engagement strategies to incorporate the patient voice into Novo Nordisk’s clinical drug development strategies
• Play a key role in gathering patient experience data throughout the clinical drug development lifecycle, including patient journeys in new therapeutic areas
• Support the development of relevant patient-focused materials
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• MSc or above in pharmaceutical science, medicine, public health science, or other relevant fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient-focused drug development
• Experienced in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
• Digital experience is highly preferred
• Great skills in communication and project management
• Professional proficiency in English
As a person, you are motivated to drive new initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment. You have a high degree of independence to set directions and deliver results in close collaboration with other experts from medical, clinical operation, and health economics.
You are also expected to identify better practices and improve methods, techniques, approaches, etc. Most importantly, you are a team player and lifelong learner that thrive in a diverse and resilient work environment.
About the department
Medical & Science, PFDD is part of Medical & Science Centre of Expertise under Clinical Drug Development in Novo Nordisk. Medical & Science Centre of Expertise aims to connect the Medical & Science organization while driving scientifically sound medical deliverables across the Novo Nordisk project portfolio. The team includes two departments: PFDD and Scientific Excellence.
There are in total of 20 employees with highly diverse backgrounds, including medical experts, public health professionals, and competency development professionals.
Medical & Science, PFDD has one Senior Director and five Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) Managers. We are passionate about bringing the patients' perspectives at the heart of everything we do and are proud of our inclusive and learning team culture.
