Position Description
STipe Therapeutics is currently searching for a proactive and motivated Research Scientist to join the biology team in our Aarhus laboratories. Based on our unique understanding of the cGAS-STING pathway, we are developing novel medicines for the treatment of cancers and autoimmune diseases. As a Research Scientist in our biology team, you will be part of an exciting and growing team dedicated to the discovery and development of novel STING-targeting medicines for the treatment of solid tumors and immunological disorders.
The successful candidate should have a Masters degree in a biological discipline and at least 2 years’ experience in a laboratory research setting, including experience in performing ELISAs, qPCR and tissue culture with both primary and transformed cells. She/he enjoys working in an innovative and fast-paced environment and actively contributes to the maintenance of high-quality laboratory practice. It is essential that the incumbent is a team-player who can drive their project forward, and has strong communication skills in English. Experience in cellular and molecular research in a laboratory setting, especially FACS experience, would be a significant advantage.

Essential requirements:
- A Masters in a biological discipline
- Motivated scientist with at least two years experience of biological research in a laboratory setting
- Substantial experience with ELISA, quantitative PCR and tissue culture
- Strong communication skills in English, both orally and written.
- Confident outlook and proactive scientist
Preferable:
- Academic training in immunology/inflammation
- Ideally experienced in FACS
