Project area
A postdoctoral position is open in the field of lymph vessels and cancer, as part of a recently awarded Danish Cancer Society grant to the Perez-Moreno group. The project stems from our recent findings, discovering for the first time, a role of lymph vessels in skin stem cell regeneration (Pena-Jimenez et al. EMBO J, 2019), and focuses on unearthing novel lymph vessels contributions to skin cancer. We guarantee a supportive career development environment, well-funded research programs, in one of the top European Universities, within the vibrant city of Copenhagen.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in stem cell/developmental and cancer biology.
- Must hold the FELASA accreditation. Proven experience working with genetically modified models for research.
- Hands-on skills on histology, cell culture, microscopy, and cell-sorting flow cytometry.
- Solid expertise in DNA, RNA, and protein analyses. Bioinformatic analyses will be a plus.
- Excellent track record of international peer-reviewed publications and teamwork.
- Motivation, high ethical research standards, independence, and collaborativenness.
- English language - excellent oral and writing communication skills.
The postdoc’s duties will include research as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 434.179 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 74.244). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
