Are you looking for an opportunity to use your experience within drug metabolism and drug-drug interaction (DDI)? Join us as a scientist in Development ADME and get to work with extraordinary talents and help us to improve the quality of life for patients around the world.

About the department

In the Development ADME department, we are a group of 6 scientists, 2 postdocs and 4 technicians; all highly skilled and dedicated people working together in an open and scientifically challenging environment. We are responsible for drug metabolism and DDI from late-stage discovery, throughout non-clinical and clinical development towards drug registration.

The job

As an ADME scientist you will be responsible for the drug metabolism and DDI strategy on several projects in our portfolio. You will work with several stakeholders within R&D, provide input to regulatory documents and conduct different types of metabolism studies, typically with radiolabelled drug candidates. Studies will be conducted both at contract research organisations and in-house. You will have the opportunity to work with different techniques and methods within in vitro assays (e.g. hepatocytes), HPLC/UPLC, radio-detection and LC-MS.

Qualifications

You have a MSc/PhD in Life Sciences and a passion for analytical chemistry and drug development. Preferably, you have experience working with in vitro/in vivo metabolism, metabolite profiling and identification of different molecular formats, such as modified peptides/proteins, oligonucleotides and small molecules. In addition to your solid scientific profile, you are a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills.

As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and geography, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. We expect you thrive in a busy environment and that you are great at focusing on solutions and opportunities.
